Don Leake - GLMG Vice President & Secretary

After starting in the construction business at age 13 with his father’s residential construction company, Don worked during the summers to build custom homes in the Charlottesville VA community until graduating from Albemarle High School.

 

As a 1979 graduate of Virginia Tech’s College of Architecture with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction, Don has been building commercial buildings ever since in the Richmond and Fredericksburg area. He has developed many contacts with local governments and works closely with building, planning, and zoning offices in the region.

 

Construction projects as diverse as a small tenant renovation to a turnkey 100 room hotel make up Don’s several hundred project resume’ and many clients are repeat customers.
